HPDF Project Status & Plan Report Cover
The HPDF Project is developing a first-of-its-kind DOE Office of Science user facility that fits within and adds world-class capabilities to the Advanced Scientific Computing Research and SC data and computing infrastructure ecosystem. The facility’s mission will be to enable and accelerate scientific discovery by delivering state-of-the-art data management infrastructure, capabilities, and tools. As a cornerstone of the DOE’s Integrated Research Infrastructure initiative, a successful, fully realized HPDF will be widely recognized as a national and international leader in uplifting data science and high-performance data infrastructure.
IRI Architecture Blueprint Activity Report
At the dawn of the exascale science era, many researchers and collaborations strive to meld data, simulation, and AI tools in novel ways, some with strict operational demands. Agency and program leaders feel the urgency to bring the best-integrated science approaches to bear on our greatest challenges. This Final Report of the cross-SC IRI ABA effort provides the scientific, technical, and organizational framework to create and sustain a more fully integrated DOE discovery and innovation ecosystem.
ESnet Requirements Review Program Through the IRI Lens
Guided by the Integrated Research Infrastructure Architecture Blueprint, staff at the Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) undertook a meta-analysis of ESnet Requirements Review reports. These strategic planning documents guide the multi-year partnerships between ESnet and the DOE Office of Science (SC) programs whose laboratories, supercomputing facilities, and scientific instruments are connected by ESnet’s high-performance network.
